I’m frequently asked how to care for canvas prints. The simple answer is:
You don’t have to do anything.

However the maintenance staff at hospitals may feel that they should clean it. If they want to do something tell them they can wipe it with a soft dry cloth to dust it.

Because of the fear of hospital acquired infections some cleaning crews feel that they have to use harsh chemicals to clean everything. Try to persuade them not to do that to canvas prints. I’m told by expert infectious disease doctors that wall art does not spread infectious diseases.

If the cleaning crew does decide to use chemicals on the print you are still probably safe because I spray a protective coating on all my canvas prints.
